The process is normally 3 to 5 times faster This eliminates manual welding, making it particularly advantageous for welding pieces with long welding times, complex contours, or where extremely high demands are placed on precision and repeatability. For larger series or welds that require completely consistent results every time, robotic welding is often the most economical and technically optimal solution.
For a welder to achieve the same quality as a modern welding robot, it requires an almost unrealistically steady hand and many years of experience. A welding robot, on the other hand, can be programmed to perform the task with millimetre precision, and it delivers the same high result time and again, regardless of the time of day, the size of the item, or the complexity of the task.

At Ollerup Maskinfabrik, we never compromise on quality. Our welding robots are installed in a complete 110 m² welding robot cell, where they work under optimal conditions to ensure the best possible weld. The current robot is our second modern welding robot, giving us solid experience in setting up, programming, and operating advanced systems.
The robot is suspended 4 metres above the floor in a ring gear and can move a full 8 metres to each side between two independent welding cells. This setup provides exceptional flexibility and the ability to handle many different types of workpieces, from small series to large, heavy constructions.

Our welding robots are located in a complete welding robot cell of 110 square metres. The robot is suspended 4 metres above floor level on a rack and pinion system, where it can travel 8 metres to the right and left between two welding cells. This means we can handle both small and large workpieces with great flexibility and precision.

One of the biggest advantages of robot welding is that the technology can significantly increase both productivity and efficiency in production. Robot welding is extremely precise and can perform welds quickly and evenly, without variation between individual welds. While manual welding naturally varies slightly from day to day, robot welding delivers the same high quality regardless of how many workpieces need to be produced.
